Representatives, Derema Group is
experienced at providing effective and
high-caliber merchandising services in
the specialty retail markets of marine
and outdoors. We perform these functions
through our Derema Merchandising
Services (DMS) division, and we focus
on the product lines our sales organization represents.  Our network of 140 part-time merchandisers are recreational enthusiasts, and are well-positioned to handle needs throughout the country in a cost-effective and timely manner.  

We represent some of the top brands including Magellan, Stearns, Star brite, and Orion.  Our retail client base includes Cabela’s, Bass Pro, West Marine, Boater’s World, Gander Mountain, Sports Authority, Academy, Sportsman’s Warehouse, among others.

Our current duties include educating retail associates, product demonstrations, special events, full resets, merchandising sunglasses, and new floor displays. Our ideal candidate is a merchandiser that has experience at both resets and retail sales experience, willing to do demonstrations on consumer electronics products.  Hours for each territory will differ, but the range is 4-20 hours/week depending on the assignment.  The work schedule is flexible and the merchandising reps make their own hours.  Our team of merchandisers is well trained and utilize an extensive knowledge base on our website to obtain information about products and assignments.   We also offer E-Train, an on line video training site, with testing.  We rely on the Internet for nearly all store reporting.

Samples are available at reduced cost including the popular line-up of Magellan GPS Auto Navigation RoadMate products.  We have found that the best way to become educated on the products is to use them.  In addition to paying for on-line training, we offer above average compensation, mileage reimbursement, travel time compensation, and optional health care benefits.  Advancement is available.
