In January of 2000, the R.J. de Recat Co., Inc. and Eastern Marketing Associates (EMA) merged to form the Derema Group. Combining over 60 years of combined company experience, the new company
became the largest rep firm in the industry. Combining the strengths of both firms, and offering regional office locations in the Northeast, West, Southeast, and Central, Derema Group became the industry's first national Sales and Marketing Solution.   A  number of vendors have recognized the need for one group providing a unified solution, and the company is now the national sales organization for companies such as Shaw Carpets, Magma, and Grohe. 

Twenty three salespeople cover the major marine and outdoor markets in the United States and British Columbia. Chris de Recat serves as President of the Derema Group, while Joe Carney serves as Vice-President of Operations. Sales and Marketing is headquartered in San Clemente, CA, with Operations in the West Chester, PA office.

A merchandising division was formed in late 2001 to meet the growing product assortment and special event needs of our retail customers.  The division currently employs over 150 trained Field Sales Representatives. 

The company services all customer channels including Retail Chains, OEM, Distribution, and Dealer. Through innovative sales and marketing programs, the company has consistently outpaced other sales growth in the base territories. Utilizing Brand Enhancement programs that create demand for product at both consumer and dealer level, Derema Group understands the dynamics of the successful sale of the products in each corresponding market channel
