RV Pro recently recognized the significant contributions that women make in the RV industry by honoring ten women as 2023 RV Women in Business. Recognizing these 10 women – whose nominators described them as critical to the operations of their organizations – is a small step in lifting up a segment of the RV industry that may often go overlooked or under-valued.
One of those honoree’s was superstar Derema associate Shalet Wingo.
Shalet is a dealer specialist covering the Southeast, handling corporate calls, dealer sales, marketing, training, store setups, trade shows and the myriad tasks associated with running a successful territory, both for her company and the manufacturers she represents.
Shalet has not only grown the sales in her region, she has also mentored some of the newer Derema associates across the country. Her attention to detail, especially with regard to her managing of the corporate accounts and their needs, is invaluable. They have deadlines for marketing, pricing and shows that are always needing to be managed and she does a great job of keeping everyone on target.
